Fall in love with Downtown Birmingham by staying at our studio lofts here at Rushton Suites! This large historic home was built in the early 1900s and was later converted into a 6 unit apartment building. Our units are perfect for 2 people, with 1 bed and 1 bath per unit! Our units are fully stocked & perfect for travel professionals, nurses, or professors! if you are planning to stay in town for an extended period of time, ask us about our long term stay discounts!
The space
The unit includes 1 bedroom with a king size bed, large tv, dresser, and a designated workspace. The unit has 1 bathroom which includes a stylish vanity and a tub shower combo. The kitchen includes a sitting area for 2, a stove/oven, large refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster oven, pots/pans, plates, bowls, cups, and a variety of cooking utensils.
Guest access
Because this property was initially built as a single family home, the layout is a bit unique. When you walk in the main front door you will be greeted by the shared lobby/foyer where there is a large staircase which leads up or down. For this particular unit (Unit #2), you will go up the stairs and your unit is on the right. During your stay you will have complete private access to this entire unit with 1 bed, 1 bath, and a kitchen! The front and back porches are shared spaces between all 6 units, feel free to use these but please be mindful of other guests and please respect our quiet hours of 10pm-6am!
Other things to note
We have a strict no smoking policy! Additionally, we do not allow PARTIES/EVENTS/OR GATHERINGS OF ANY SIZE. There are cameras located in public spaces; front porch, back porch and shared hallways only.

This Airbnb was beautiful. It was like staying at a super nice hotel suite but better. Very clean and bright. Hosts were quickly responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

I absolutely loved this place. It was very clean and spacious and the inside was beautiful. From the time you walk in to the time you get into your private loft it was very clean and just very beautiful. I loved how everything was decorated. The bed was comfortable as well which was a plus. On the air bnb page it says it doesn’t have a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner or body soap but the room I stayed in did have that stuff which was great to have there as extra. Since it is a older house you can hear stuff pretty well inside of the house. You can also hear the outside noises and what’s going out there pretty well. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest using the sound machine. I thought that was a great addition as well to have! I would definitely stay at this place again if I ever came to Birmingham in the future.

We loved this beautiful and very comfortable unit and so enjoyed our stay! I hope we have the opportunity to stay here again and have the time to explore the area; it is so pretty. The bed was topnotch, the decor was classic and simple, quality linens, the makeup wash cloth was perfect as I had forgotten to bring a few of my own. Thank you!!! Parking in front is best and will allow for the least amount of stairs to climb, but we arrived late evening and had to park in the back. It was easy to find and park (easier than parking in the front) but there was quite a climb from it to the house and then two long extra flights of stairs to go up. This might be a concern for some, but we loved it (just took me a few seconds to catch my breath); it allowed us to see the beautiful view and to discover some hidden nooks around the airbnb. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again!!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay here. We were not disappointed, it was everything that it said it would be. Very clean, nice, modern, and in a great area. Lots of restaurants/bars around, some even walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Matthew was great!! The loft is located in a great location and the interior was very clean and comfy!! I will definitely use Matthew as an host in the future when visiting the Birmingham area!
